Diagnostic procedures at MD Lab Tbilisi and Kutaisi are always conducted according to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and established SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures).

We have recently started to participate External Quality Assurance (EQA) tests organised by INSTAND e.V., a German independent, interdisciplinary, non-profit, scientific and medical society with over 300 members. INSTAND e.V. has been organising EQA tests as part of external quality assurance in the area of haematology since 1968. In 1970 it extended these services to include nearly all areas of laboratory diagnostics. INSTAND e.V. is accredited by the German accreditation authority DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle).
